La Case Corail is a genuine creole house on the edge of Sainte-Anne, at the southern tip of Martinique, restored without stripping away its soul: painted timber, louvred shutters, cool floors, and a garden of banana and breadfruit trees.

The carbet at the end of the garden is where everyone ends up sitting.
